Almost 2 months after
Glass Stock has ended, I am still amazed at what an affect it has had on me, the wonderful friends I made & the techniques I learned.
Deb Crowley worked her butt off to pull it all off, with the actual site for the venue changing up until the last minute & who knows what other headaches she dealt with.
Anyway, though I've been lampworking for almost 5 years, I felt too inexperienced to attempt a fish bead, steering away from most sculptural work in fact. Well that class was probably the most amazing class I've ever taken.
Deb was like a cheerleader, standing behind me uttering words of encouragement as I went along. And it wasn't just me. At the end of class, we were all excited beyond words at what we'd just learned. My roommates & I couldn't get the smiles off our faces that night.
So, to try to pay
Deb back in some small way for all she's done, I'll be donating 50% of the proceeds of the sale of any fish in my
etsy or
ArtFire shops for the next few weeks. I uploaded 2 listings to my
etsy shop today, but keep an eye out for both my shops for more fish to come. The fish you see at the top of the page were uploaded to my
etsy shop earlier today.
